This is a senior infrastructure role where you’ll ensure system stability, disaster readiness, and future scalability for critical BFSI applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure Management
- Design, set up, and maintain IT systems like servers, networks, software, and tools
- Ensure systems are always available and working properly
- Provide advanced (L3) production support when issues occur
- Support users and internal teams technically
- Help align IT systems with business goals
2. Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Plan what to do if systems crash, data is lost, or a disaster happens
- Make sure data can be recovered quickly (virtual and physical)
- Identify risks and weak points in systems
- Regularly test disaster recovery plans to ensure they actually work
- Coordinate with crisis and business teams during major incidents
3. Capacity Management
- Predict future IT needs based on business growth
- Ensure systems have enough resources (CPU, memory, storage, etc.)
- Monitor system performance and fix bottlenecks
- Plan infrastructure upgrades in advance
- Optimize costs by avoiding overuse or waste of resources
Must-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience in:
-Infrastructure Management
-Disaster Recovery
-Capacity Management - Strong L3 Production Support background
- Python scripting experience (for automation & troubleshooting)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts)
Good-to-Have Skills:
- ITIL certification or strong ITIL knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Team player mindset
- Additional Python experience
