Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager-Client Accounting to lead and oversee Clients for all the activities as per SLA covering accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Leading Month end close activities and providing essential financial reporting, auditing Etc. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to scale up the complete accounting process for a rapidly growing client in the field of School Education in the USA. You will also partner with the Finance Head and CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and oversee the AP and AR department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all AP and AR Transactions.
● Revenue recognition, lease accounting, equity and investment accounting, Fixed assets etc.
● Have in depth knowledge of US GAAP and video exposure in Month end close and year end activities and audit work and continue updating on various technical and accounting knowledge.
● Supervise, mentor, and build a high-performing team.
● Be the single point of contact for the client to ensure high quality service and respond to queries, concerns and provide client satisfaction.
● Worked with Big 4 Auditors to close the audit.
● Establish, implement, and continuously improve policies, processes, internal controls and SOP’s.
● The ideal candidate will be also responsible for managing a team of 5-7 people and interacting with the clients for all the activities as per SLA covering accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, lead the Month end close activities and providing essential financial reporting Etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).
● 10–15 years of progressive experience in, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
● Proven expertise in managing educational institutional (Schools) clients in the USA and having good understanding.
● Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Blackbaud preferably or similar other accounting software.
● Working knowledge about various prepaid and credit card applications like Travel Card, Ramp, Divvy etc., preferred.
● Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
● Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, particularly in client-facing situations.
● Working experience with educational institution clients in the USA is preferred.

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST (5-day work week)
