Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior with a strong background in public accounting and specialized expertise in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience auditing property and casualty (P&C) insurance companies and a solid understanding of U.S. accounting and auditing standards. This role involves managing audit engagements, performing detailed testing, and delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
Qualification and Experience:
● Minimum 3+ years in public accounting audit, with a focus on insurance clients.
● CPA or equivalent professional certification
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and execute audit engagements for insurance clients, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and US GAAS.
● Perform detailed testing and analysis of major transaction cycles for P&C insurance companies, including:
● Premiums/underwriting
● Claims and claim adjustment expenses (including actuarial estimates)
● Reinsurance contracts/treaties
● Investments
● Policy acquisition costs
● Audit US-domiciled captive insurance companies (preferred).
● Apply knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles (NAIC) in audit procedures (preferred).
● Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure efficiency and quality.
● Communicate audit issues, findings, and recommendations clearly to engagement leadership.
Technical Skills:
● Strong understanding of US GAAP and US GAAS (required).
● Familiarity with NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles (preferred)

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST (5-day work week)
