Security & Risk Analyst

Location: Bengaluru
Shift: Partial overlap with US business hours

Role Overview

We are seeking a Security & Risk Analyst to support day-to-day security operations, focusing on email security, account protection, monitoring, and audit support. This entry-level role follows established procedures and escalation paths to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process email security requests, reported phishing emails, and messaging threats using approved security tools.
• Perform account security actions, including password resets, MFA re-authentication, and user session management.
• Monitor security dashboards, alerts, and operational queues, escalating issues as required.
• Maintain security logs, operational metrics, and audit-ready documentation.
• Support SOC 2 and internal audit activities by maintaining evidence and security records.
• Assist with vendor security documentation and compliance processes.
• Follow documented SOPs, checklists, and security workflows to ensure operational consistency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including phishing, email security, MFA, and identity protection.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Good written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or 0–2 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Security Operations, or Compliance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Teams, and SharePoint.
• Exposure to email security platforms, ticketing systems, or security awareness tools.
• Basic understanding of SOC 2, NIST, or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
• Interest in building a career in Cybersecurity or Security Operations.
