Senior network engineer

A senior network engineer with strong routing and switching expertise, hands-on experience in packet analysis and monitoring tools, who can design and support secure enterprise networks.

Core Skills Required (Must-Have):

1. Strong Networking Experience

• 7+ years in Routing & Switching or Network Security
• Deep understanding of:
  • LAN (Switching)
  • WAN (Routing)
  • Enterprise network design
• CCNP level knowledge minimum, CCIE is a plus

2. Packet Broker & Network Analysis Tools (Very Important)

They want someone who understands network traffic visibility, not just routing.

Experience with tools like:

• Arista DMF or similar packet brokers
• Riverbed AppResponse / NetProfiler / Flowgateway
• Tools that analyze:
  • Network traffic
  • Application performance
  • Flow data

3. Network Engineering & Design Knowledge

• Hardware performance testing and monitoring
• Network design with security and compliance in mind
• Planning and provisioning enterprise networks
• Handling production networks without downtime

Soft Skills:

• Can explain complex network concepts in simple terms
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Strong troubleshooting mindset
• Can collaborate with multiple teams (Ops, Security, IT)
